OPAQUE BUT STILL TRANSPARENT

The latest wearable F-ABRIC showpieces are produced using our rugged and absolutely non-see-through top material, the FREITAG Broken Twill, made of flax and true hemp from Normandy. As dense as the materials may be, F-ABRIC is transparent in all other areas: If you're looking for textiles which are cotton-free and non-toxic, where every step in the production process takes place within a 2500-kilometer radius of Zurich, and that will one day decompose completely on a domestic compost heap, you have to make them yourself from scratch. FREITAG knows all its suppliers and producers as well as the ingredients of their fabrics and their production methods. And if we manage to get by without expensive certification, we are happy – if anyone asks us – to provide information about everything from the fibers we use to the finished garment. Except the shoe sizes of our seamstresses in Tarnowskie Góry, Poland. And that applies to all our clothes. What follows is a brief rundown of all our latest models.

E553 MALE WORKPANT – PANTS CRAFT
The second, somewhat looser-fitting and slightly nostalgic FREITAG pleated workpant made of FREITAG Broken Twill (81 % linen, 19 % true hemp). Can also be pulled tight, regardless of how loose they are. They are finished in Poland by hand rather than on an industrial sewing machine. Apart from that, they have adjustment straps on the back, reinforced seams and waistbands, and a suspender docking station.

This high-waist-below-the-knee skirt incorporates a whole bunch of European expertise. The heavy FREITAG Broken Twill (81 % linen, 19 % true hemp) is arranged in folds – which are not sewn – at the front and held in shape over the hips by two F-buttons, giving the wearer complete freedom of movement.

This in-between-seasons and indoor F-ABRIC blouson may be cut like a bomber jacket, but is otherwise harmless: It's produced fairly (outer material 100 % linen / lining: 75 % Modal, 15 % linen, 10 % true hemp) and at some point, when no longer needed, will slowly disintegrate on your compost heap: but not with a bang.
